First Friday Ramen Tasting with Fang

What is conscious parenting?  Two ways I think about conscious parenting is, giving yourself a chance to be raised by your kids and to say YES to opportunities to spend time with them, even when their interest varies from yours.

It's a gift when your kids voice their wants and needs. Sometimes, it's not easy for them, so we follow up and ask. When they do finally share, we should acknowledge that they were brave in sharing their innermost thoughts and feelings with us.

If you are a parent and don't feeling like you are doing it right all the time, you aren't alone.

Having the opportunity to own my shortcomings with Fang has been humbling and I am always grateful for the invitation to be in his life.

As I support him in areas of his life, he comes through for me when it is time for me to break away from work.
